Hi all,

been having a problem that i cant seem to fix.

Latest version install fresh, setup 2 extension, ivr and 1 trunk.

Setup the users vmail also.

When dialing *97 to access ther voicemail, I see that asterisk is playing it as seen bellow, yet the user hears nothing. This is a standard audio file that comes installed with asterisk so no conversion done by me...

-- Goto (from-internal,*97,106)
-- Executing [*97@from-internal:106] VoiceMailMain("SIP/100-00000085", "100@default") in new stack
-- <SIP/100-00000085> Playing 'vm-password.gsm' (language 'en')


This also happens on IVR with a PCM encoded spec'ed wav file, cannot hear the ivr message.

what am i missing here? I'm doing everything correctly and by the book...
The recordings work fine in Trixbox, switchvox etc... but not elastix...

Any help would be appreciated.

nevermind... Found my issue, I had tried to load g729 modules, and after removing them from /var/lib/asterisk/module everything is back to normal....

In fact i was to blame...
